Inspired by a Visionary

Tia Adriana’s Property Management is a family-owned business deeply rooted in the heart of Sayulita, Mexico. Our story begins with a remarkable woman, Adrienne Adams, who was one of the first expatriates to embrace the charm of Sayulita in the early 1980s.

Adrienne’s journey to Sayulita was ignited by her son Rex, who introduced her to this captivating town during a surfing adventure. She decided to take a bold step, leaving behind her real estate career in California to make Sayulita her new home. In pursuit of her dreams, she built a cozy yet thriving bed and breakfast, which would become one of the first hotels in town. Her establishment was named “Villa Buena Salud,” but it wasn’t long before the locals affectionately began calling her “Tia,” meaning “aunt” in Spanish. This led to the renaming of her beloved B&B to “Tia Adriana’s Bed and Breakfast.”

Tia became an integral part of the Sayulita community, touching the lives of many with her warm hospitality and entrepreneurial spirit. Her legacy lives on through her four granddaughters, who now manage her hotel and have expanded their horizons into property management. They are committed to preserving Tia’s vision, nurturing the community, and creating unforgettable experiences for property owners and visitors alike.
